Little Rock, Arkansas. Ahh, what a wonderful city! John and Kati both grew up here and lived here all their lives -- but didn't meet until they attended the University of Arkansas. Little Rock is like that: small enough to know lots of people, but big enough to get lost in a crowd every once in awhile.

There are tons of things to do in Little Rock for those of you who might not have ever been here. Probably the #1 attraction for tourists would be the Clinton Presidential Library, located downtown. You can also visit the Arkansas Arts Center while you're in that part of town, the environmentally-friendly Heifer International Village and the Peabody Hotel (with its infamous ducks). Ride the trolley around and have a grand ole time! Or, hop on a rented bike from River Trail Bicycle Rentals and ride the trails. Little Rock also has the North America's longest pedestrian bridge -- we call it the Big Dam Bridge -- and you should definitely check it out.
Downtown Little Rock is also a hotspot for people looking to par-tay! There are a bunch of bars on President Clinton Avenue that are easy to walk to from each other. Some of the popular spots include The Flying Saucer, Willy D's, Earnie Biggs, Sticky Fingerz and Juanita's.
Another popular place to hang out is in Hillcrest, at the bottom of Kavanaugh hill. They have some great bars, from Ferneau to Ciao Baci. Or if you're more like Kati and just want to grab a casual glass of wine, take your party to the Heights, at the top of Kavanaugh hill, and head to By the Glass. It's fantastic!
If all you want to know about is where you can grab some good local grub, we have plenty of favorites in town. US Pizza is fantastic and is actually where we had our very first date (awww!). Zaza is another popular place that serves great salads, wood-oven pizza and gelato; It is incredible. Other popular spots around town that we eat at a lot include Riviera Maya (mexican), Igibon (japanese/sushi), Lilly's Dim Sum (asian cuisine), Cajun's Wharf (seafood/steaks) and so much more! And for dessert you've got to try Red Mango (Kati's personal favorite. Healthy too!) located in the Heights.
